What a mother!

She comes in to warm you for a brief while
with her cuddles
you feel all the energy of her life giving warmth
she is so sweet to you
for a little while
there is no turbulence
and then her mood changes
you feel the roar of her cold north winds
from the frigid north
she can be one cold bitch!
Author's Notes: I was walking today after a warm day in Oklahoma to catch the growing moon look like a sickle against the blue sky and the red clouds about 40 minutes after sunset when the wind came rushing in from the north cooling the neighborhood about 20 degrees in one hour.
I wanted to go outside to feel her mood change hoping that it would happen later....
the sky was almost like out of a fantasy or dream
I'll read her tonight at Galileo's for poetry and nutrition....
Unfortunately, I still think of her when I visit the place as it one of the magical places where we dined.
It is a sweet little restaurant in the Paseo section of OKC ....one of the very few "safe" areas for bohemian intellectuals in the land of Bubbas!
