Pagan Prayers- To Begin

Pagan Prayers- “To Begin”
To begin- something must end.
Raise my hands to the sky- Father is who I find.
Touch the warmth of the earth- I feel Mother’s great hearth.
Step into the pool of Time- open my weary soul.
Held by a small spark inside- through newness I am growing old.
The burden is no longer held within- I shall begin again.
Through my youth comes another!
From the Maiden- I emerge the Mother.
To begin- another must end- to begin- I must end (for you) .
My hands open to one so small- seeds sown.
Open my heart to one so small- still I am not yet grown.
From the Maiden- I emerge the Mother…
And from my life I have another.
To begin means that something must end.
I will end and begin… for you.
Author's Notes: Okay, well, here's another one that I think is building into a "Pagan Prayers" series... I don't know yet. I'm open for any ideas that anyone may have ;-)
