Magician's Dawn

Magicianˇ¦s Dawn
Arise, see the day
and know it is mine.
Reaching beyond myself,
a trial of my convictions
spinning inside,
until I succeed.
Grasping, in my palm
a shining Truth
that eluded me, for just a while.
Itˇ¦s nature is strength
to draw on.
Soothing of soul,
lucid, eternal,
I know it now.
Another pane
through which to gaze
from my many windowed home.

Author's Notes: This poem came to me as I meditated on the tree of life, trying to understand the various sephiroth and their meanings, and why those meaning were chosen for "leaves" on the tree and not other meanings. The Gods chose to show me each "leaf", each sephiroth, is another window through which I must be able to view and understand the universe. This was the first poem I ever wrote, and the experience was incredibly profound. I have since learned to understand a great deal of magick through poetry.
