The Voice

the voice tells me yes
its so loud i cant hear my own heart
what is my heart saying?
thats the only voice that matters
the other voice is bitter with desire
it none other than desprate
desprate for that hug
desprate for that kiss
desprate for that touch
nothing feels as bad
except for the bite of rejection
when i hear that bitter sweet voice
just telling me to say what i want
and what i want is to say yes
but who is the one with the want?
the desprate or my heart
who knows?
who cares?
not the one asking for my trust
for my love
for my loyalty
he wont care nor notice
why should he
he doesnt even know the real me
will he want to
too many questions not enough answers
typical love
it's never the straight truth
thats for sure
