'Death's Kiss'

Age Group: Adult
She breathed death upon my ear;
kissing sweet death.
My slumbering soul fading into oblivion.
Leaving me alone;fading into the night.
Oh glorious death,
how she speaks to me.
When it's just me and the voices within
calling out my name.
Calling to me from somewhere between this world and the next.
My past is golden;
mystery unfolding.
The beat of the drum speaks to my heart.
I dance and my soul leaves my body.
It is no longer me;
I must embrace the feeling.
Embrace the past;
free my crazy mind.
Death, will you dance with me tonight?
