Journey of the Goddess

The mystical dwelling stirs
At the rising of the sun
The flowers and grass, the spruce and firs
All of them arising as one
You see an adolescent girl
Dressed all in white
Dancing in the midst of the world
With all of her might
The sun rises higher into the sky
Existing is feeling of joy and mirth
The trees seem to dance, the wind to cry
The song is heard all over the Earth
You see the Goddess heavy with child
Her eyes flash fire into your mind
Her temperament is somewhat wild
Her movements soft, her appearance kind
The full moon rises, the darkness is cold
The sunlight fades before long
The wind carries on it tales of old
And soon you hear the nocturnal beasts' songs
The Goddess has now become the Crone
Full of wisdom and might
She disappears, it's you alone
And then it's just you and the night
