I've seen where you are.
I've been where you've been.
But with all these thoughts,
I've gone crazy within.
You say I'm a child,
you say I'm too young.
So why can't you explain
these places in my head?
The signs that I see,
the symbols I know,
the knowledge that I have,
is more than I show.
Yet you can't explain
what I've just said.
I need to figure out
all that's in my head!
I've birthed a god;
I've fallen in hell;
I've met a vampyre clan;
I've felt more than I can tell.
I've been pushed back in
by a huge hand not human.
I've been raised by unicorns,
and been adopted
by the highest of kin.
Yet all that you do
is put up a wall,
and say to me,
"It's nothing at all."
So leave me alone!
I'll just stand here and grin.
My gut has yet been wrong,
my insanity's still held within.
Author's Notes: Poetry has always been a calming and grounding experience for me. I don't explain my poetry to many people, because I want to see what they think about it, and what they think it's about. Many times it's the only thing that tells the truth on how I feel. The difference between reality and truth.
