New Moon Ritual

New Moon Ritual:
We gather here on this night of the New Moon
To bring to us many things of boon.
The bane of the past we now release
And the negativity shall soon cease.
We honor the Goddess in her Maiden form
As the Moon this mantle now adorns.
Artemis Maiden huntress of the night
Protect us both with your celestial arrow’s might.
Athena she who is known for her intelligence
We call to you for guidance so words we do not mince.
All these gifts we ask of you oh Honored Goddess
May we accept them all and still remain modest.
So mote it be by the power of three times three
BLESSED BE, BLESSED BE!
Author's Notes: This is a nice and easy little passage I wrote last night when a friend and I were celebrating the New Moon. We used it and found it to work very well.
