To Lady Venus
by Venus of the Earth
Age Group: Adult
From the foam of the sea,
You rise, and I see thee.
Thy beauty radiates
From the bright ocean shore.
You alter all man’s fate,
Making life not worth less, but rather more.
Her sweet birds swan and dove
Carry on wing peace and love.
Her blossoming flower
And her brilliant, bright star
Find within them power
Of pentagonal structure, fair’st by far
So perfect is thy face,
You were given great grace,
The apple as your fruit,
Colors pink, white, and green,
The sweet music of flutes,
And great pow’r o’er men all women have seen
