The Day I Died Inside

by Darkwolf Moonhowler
 Age Group: Adult

The Day I Died Inside
The day I died inside, I felt like nothing worked. The day I died inside, I was really hurt.
There once was a boy, a boy who had everything going for him. He lived a happy life with a great love.
The boy loved to draw and write, he drew his feelings. He dreamed of writing a book, a book of powerful emotions.
Then one day, in a book store he found the book, the one he dreamed of.
The day I died inside, I felt like nothing worked. The day I died inside, I was really hurt.
The boy grew up, he became an adolescent. He lived a life of sadness, with a great hurt.
He found something big out, something about his life. He was adopted, everything changed around him.
The boy had mixed up emotions, emotions about his real parents. Did he want to meet them or not did he hate them…or not?
The day I died inside, I felt like nothing worked. The day I died inside, I was really hurt.
The boy became confused, he felt like he wasn’t who he thought he was. He didn’t know what to do, he was scared.
He tried to find out more about himself, he tried, tried and tried some more. He couldn’t find anything, he felt lost, and abandoned.
The boy was hopeless, he tried to find it in himself to love. He wasn’t able to do it, he had no willpower left in him.
The day I died inside, I felt like nothing worked. The day I died inside, I was really hurt.
The boy wanted a normal life, a life without hate and pain. But that could never be, and he lived on…always in darkness.
Hate and despair surrounded him, burrowing deeper and deeper into his soul. Destroying and burning as they went, always killing him, always there.
The boy had died inside, he felt like nothing worked. The day he died inside, he was really hurt.
The day I died inside, I felt like nothing worked. The day I died inside, I was really hurt.
