Broken Heart

You said that you loved me
and I thought it was true
Because deep down inside
I loved you too
But then you stopped talking
you avoided me altogether
And to think that I thought
we'd always be together
You broke my heart
and my world shattered
You seem so clueless
like it doesn't even matter
Even though it matters
everything to me
I guess it just wasn't...
just wasn't meant to be
Author's Notes: I wrote this with a friend in mind. I've always had a gift when it comes to knowing how people feel. So I used that gift and created this poem.
