Dreams Can Come True

Your dreams
can come true
If you take the time
to think them through
So close your eyes
and take a deep breath
Don't worry
about time or death
Just stop what you're doing
and think things through
What are you doing?
Is it right for you?
Live your dreams
and your dreams only
But save some time
or you will be left lonely
Save some time
for the ones you love
For they really are
gifts from above
So go out
and live your dreams
Go out
and patch up all the seams
To make you life
and what you see
As perfect as
it can be
Author's Notes: This poem basically means "Follow your Dreams" and don't follow others. Everyone has goals in life. But it seems that so few of us actually accomplish them. It seems that people either give up on them or are pushed to a different choice, usually someone else's.
I wrote this poem to basically state that you should follow your dreams and follow them through. Don't give up and don't follow someone else's dream.
I also put it how you shouldn't let it get over your head. Leave some time for the important things, like loved ones.
