Listen To Your Heart

Trust your heart
I can't....
Trust your heart
It's impossible
For me?
I will....
How can I
listen to my heart
When my head screams
that we must part
My heart whispers
that you'll come back to me
But what my mind
is telling me
You should stay
We should part
For a better life
I take my heart
My heart grows stronger
the whispers start to yell
Crystal clear
like a bell
A love like ours
is meant to stay
Whatever we do
there is a way
But I just want
happiness for you
And whatever you do
I will stay true
I'll always be here
but for now we part
I will always be waiting
for you to take my heart
Author's Notes: A beautiful poem. But it holds no meaning to me anymore. My ex was going to move to France. Now I just wish he did. At least I would be at peace.
