When our paths cross we simply greet.

A salutation pure and sweet.
"Oh Merry Meet, Oh Merry Meet."
It's in my heart where embers heat.
"Oh Merry Meet, Oh Merry Meet."
I try to speak my words retreat.
"Oh Merry Meet, Oh Merry Meet."
I'll keep my feelings packaged neat.

A simple smile that's so discrete.
"Oh Merry Meet, Oh Merry Meet."
Author's Notes: This poem is for someone I have fond thoughts of. I would love him to know this but the words get caught and I just say hey
