Air

The Air is all around us
It sustains us,
It pollutes us.
The air can be a warm, gentle breeze on your face; comforting
Welcoming you into the great outdoors
The trees sway and the leaves bounce, as if to say "Hello" in the warm, gentle breeze.
The air can be cold and brutal,
Whipping your skin like the tips of an icy flogger;
a warning of bad things to come; A signal to stay inside.
On a dark winters night, when the trees are bare and unwelcoming winds
Blow everywhere, you know; you know that Death is near.
But have no fear of icy winds
Take shelter and prepare, for the winds of change blow everywhere
And soon the wheel will turn, and the gentle breeze will return,
To welcome us once again into the beautiful
Great Outdoors
