Mother

As I look at your picture I hear you laugh
When I close my eyes I can almost feel your loving embrace
When I think of you I know the comfort that only a mother can offer
As I look back in my memories I remember living with your light because of your love
Now as I look into the candle I burn for your memory I cry and smile knowing that your love will always be my greatest strength.
Author's Notes: On this day five years ago, My mother who was not "really" a witch passed into Summerland
She was survived by two daughters, one sister and two brothers and a cat.
My mom died of spinal meningitis after living only 45 moons.
Her death was in her sleep and I would like to believe in peace.
The reason I make this note now is because I feel the need to let my community know about the woman who made the greatest impact on my life by teaching me to love no matter what.
She had a big heart and is greatly missed
