A Year of Loving

The wind dances through the trees
The sound of skirts swishing across the sky
A great courtship of wind with Mother Earth
Dancing together always knowing
They dance together always feeling
United in movement
He strokes her with the brush of a lover's hand across her breast
They dance together with gentle breezes in the mist of a Beltane morn
So content they stay through Spring with gentle breezes, loving touches
Summer longs for that touch, yearning for the cool winds of spring
Fall loves that touch as the leaves grow gold and the wind makes music with her lovely colors
and Winter loathes it with frozen land already barren, the wind is not welcome here until that morn when the first signs that the Beltane mists are near again
Author's Notes: If you like this, please let me know. I write quite a bit, yet this is my first submission of poetry to Witchvox. However, I will submit more if it is enjoyed.
