City Witch/Country Witch

There once were two witches,
side by side.
One from the city,
the other country wise.
Together they spoke,
of their common ground.
This that they learned,
that which was found.
So similar they were,
from different parts.
Each their spells,
and each rheir arts.
They stood in a circle,
their energy shared.
While all passed by,
and no one cared.
What did they do?
So oft, we do not.
And of me and you,
for all we've got.
Distance so far,
and yet so near.
What they did together,
was made so clear.
It's not the distance
nor is it the craft.
It's sharing the knowledge,
that's come to pass.
City or Country,
do we care?
It's who we are,
and what we share.

Author's Notes: So often, we become too secretive. Rather than sharing what we have or learn. Too often we live in secluded worlds. Oblivious of those around us. Knowledge is lost or forgotten. In a Pagan/Witch world. We cannot keep the gift. if it is to grow.
