Crescent Moon

Shadow on your fingertips
The moon’s touch on your lips
People don’t understand
The music that comes from the land
The feeling in the air
That comes from the night
The dark seen as evil’s heir
And people believe good is light
But haven’t you ever herd
Of reading between the lines
Believe me here and now
Some truths are made from lies
When love blooms
Were does it lay?
Maybe you might smile to the day
But don’t you love
Were only the moon can play?
So listen to the whispers
The secrets of the night
As the crescent moon
Looms in your eyes sight
