Alone...

In darkness I dwell without
My own pity, my only friend
My words echo, hollow and empty
They are the only sound my ears hear
Without, silence, which reflects whats inside
For I am dead, I died in a most unnatural way
Though my heart beats and my soul does wheap
I sit in a silent scream for the madness in me
I am alone, solitary in an endless night
Break my pain, that cuts me like a knife
Break my pain that refuses to end me
Pain which instead overwhelms me and I grieve
No mortal can put words to the empty lonely vastness
No mortal mind can comprehend what troubles lie within
For there is nothing, nothing, and nothing is my only friend
