Morning Glory Magic

We can forget that, while making the rounds
Of our routine lives, we should push up too.
That extra energy needs work to do,
And how not merry, when thoughts go around,
All night keeping our sleepy minds unsound!
Winding around while reaching for the blue,
Is the charm of what morning glories do.
They show us how to let blessings abound.
We do many things for many reasons,
But can we match the cause with the season?
Pick the right times for certain things to go,
And other things to stop or to go slow.
Above all, to live, push up! Work the spell
Of life, of which the morning glories tell!
