Spellbound

I sometimes wonder, does the full moon flirt
With that white and blue beauty, Lady Earth?
Her changeless peaks fake aloofness in vain;
The beat of her tides makes ecstasy plain.
Could it be that the man-in-the-moon winks
At the lady to establish those links,
That bind true lovers over time and space
Into that trance called, "spellbound", with a trace
Of every blessed charm, thus intertwined?
So, doc, you think this is just in my mind?
Okay, I tell myself I am dreaming,
But then, there the moon is again, beaming!
Sorry, doc, but I am told by my heart
That this love story makes the finest art.
Goodbye, doc! You all can call me crazy,
But I am also his spellbound Lady!
