Reaching

Failing is better, while trying your best,
Than not trying. Remembering feels sad,
But the ritual of laying to rest
Works the magic of blessing what you had.
Trying is made best by remembering.
I rather remember, and live with pain,
Than forget. What is the point of living,
After all, without risks? A life in vain!
Why settle for reaching a single star?
Risk crashing, reaching for the Pleiades!
This way, having reached so wide and so far,
I fell, but have left many memories.
Why whip yourself for errors you had made,
When done in the quest of making top grade?
