Serendipitous Advances

The spirit that is I hits the tail end
Of the spirit of a fairy! Oh no!
Will it cast cruel spells? We are headed
In like ways, and thus we keep on going.
My haste still made waste, but my tale ascends
From the start to new heights of sanctity.
It worked well after all, that our paths crossed!
I hit the rear end of the spirit of -
The Tree of Life! I keep climbing likewise,
But with every inch I climb, I take root
Deeper into the Earth which I so love!
I hit the rear end of the spirit of -
The River! We keep running our like ways,
But now I also slowly but surely
Wear away the surfaces of hard rocks.
The spirit that is I hits the tail end
Of a cloud! I keep on drifting likewise,
But no longer as heavily as lead
Drifting over the River of the Dead,
But like clouds rumbling in high-tension skies,
I download my burden to the parched Earth
To give her the things on which life depends.
