Blessed Day

Perfect days are just in the nick of time,
When much good get done. All falls into place
Just right, not one minute off from - sublime!
I get this feel of divine, subtle grace,
A blessing for what I do: treating pets,
That get bored and lonely, with a visit,
Helping my friend, who is old and upset,
Find his way to a solace of spirit,
And still I have time to help Mother Earth
With giving acts, petitions, and my thoughts
Shared with others! Such a day is well worth
Living, for good deeds done, and battles fought.
Days such as this hold a bit of Heaven,
Worth doing over, and over again!
