by Radko Vacek
Age Group: Adult
Who ever thought when he was so small,
An all black and part lab puppy,
That he would turn into this big party animal!
Montana's a dog as dogs should be,
Loyal, and so jealous for the attention
Of his master! He seems without a flaw,
So I feel nearly guilty to mention,
He drinks. Don't you leave your can of beer
And turn your back, or his paw
Will tip it over and lick to the last drop.
He and Bud together - something's gonna pop!
Dogs have the right he feels - K9 LIBERATION!
Thank God he's a dog, or the poor dear
Would need intensive rehabilitation.
Aw, let him have some! Being so loyal,
Doesn't he deserve it, after all?
Author's Notes: pop - African American dialect, to happen
Author's Location: Toledo, Ohio
