Love From a Past Life

I once had a mind
Just like you do
I think I remember
What you say is true
But I'm so confused,
I have many a thought
I remember you true
Yet my mind is distraught
Ah yes I remember
But I don't know why
A past life we cherished
Eventually to die
I was your best friend
And your lover too
I remember you now
But what am I to do?
You cherished my rose
That I once did give
But my life is separate
From you do I live
I remember it all
And all that you say
But there's someone else
Whom I'm with today
And yet I remember
All that we did
I still love you now
Since I was a kid
And what am I saying
I'm facing such strife
I've never stopped loving you
From my past life.
