Fool Me

Fool me once with a lie
I'm a trusting kind of guy
Fool me twice the same way
I'll just stare and say "okay"
Fool me again times three
But right through your soul I see
Fool me time number four
I lead you to your own trap door
Fool me five times in a row
You just can't see each time I grow
Fool me with time number six
I've mastered your miserable tricks
Fool me a true seventh time
Your Karma times three looks like grime
Fool me with time number eight
I won long ago, checkmate!
Fool me with time number nine
You panic, but I feel just fine
Fool me with time number ten
My puppet, amuse me again.
Author's Notes: A poem written under the category of Pagan Spirituality because many Pagans understand the cause/effect relationship well enough to know what's going on when it happens. Ultimately, if someone keeps bugging you out of meanness, don't worry because you learn from it each time, and their day is coming very soon. It may not be on your preferred time schedule, but it is on the "to do" list for when the timing is right.
Based on some of my own personal events, and inspired when I heard from a friend of mine, of some difficulties my friend Blessingway has been going through with people who keep bugging him, and for no good reason at all. I know exactly how he feels. Except I know, that the "bullies" of the world are ultimately the ones who need the most guidance and love. One day, they will be in the inferior position ready to recieve punishment from their victims, but will instead find friendship by the ones they bullied, who were always true to their own heart.
Or not. :-)
