Letting Go, Part 2

After all that is said
And all that is done
After all of our fights
I know why no one won
The truth only remains
Within remaining debris
Remains of the same
Of the Truth you now see
I helped you lift that veil
And imparted the plan
Remaining backwardly friendly
As I could, as I can
The catalyst I've been
Yes, I knew from the beginning
For me, not a fight
But to ensure your own winning
You so wanted my love
I'd be wrong though to give,
Divine plan's priority
Ensuring your good life to live
I knew that I was chosen
To put you through this
To teach you how better
To achieve lasting bliss.
The cycle has ended
I knew one day it would;
My mission accomplished
I've done all that I should.
So odd our relations were,
Dysfunctionally quirked,
And that's how I knew
Backwards Magick would work --
To help you go forward
Far from the dead-end path,
Blamed for pulling you backward
From a hurtful life's wrath;
I'm so glad now you've found
A love that is lasting,
Now achieved through our efforts,
Backwards/forwards spell casting.
I always knew from the start
This one day would be...
Sorry the Truth hurt you,
But at least now you're free!
I resign in fulfillment
Heart and mind are now clear
With my foresight foretold
You're no longer austere.
You may call me the villain
Or a vampirish friend
All that mattered to me
Was you'd find love in the end;
So I release now your hand
Admiring how you've grown
My blessing for your safety,
With true love on your own.
