Perfection Am I

Envisioning a perfect house
A love as sweet as honey
A perfect dream I can achieve
With someone who has money
The perfect goal kept in the mind
(But no plan to achieve it)
On silver platter it is served
That's how I shall receive it
For perfect ever have I been
I'll never need to change
The world around me, always wrong
It's THEY who seem so strange...
Perfection all I ever see
Myself with my own eye
Perfection is as perfection does
And perfection, dear, am I.
Ah-ha! I see that you relate
To all that I am saying!
But do you think you're perfect too?
...well Honey, keep on praying.
Author's Notes: A parody, of course, intended to expose human folly to the point of humorous ridicule, completely devoid of wisdom and good sense. ;-) Sometimes I just need to be completely and totally senseless and sarcastic for no good reason at all.
Sometimes my best friend (a terribly vain Leo) and I (an even worse Sagittarian instigator from Hell) love to have a conversation like this, starting out giving lavish compliments to each other that drool with false flattery and immoderate praise, but ending up trying to outdo each other with self-given praise and utter bragging with extravagant lies about how oneself is far better than the other. A total nonsensical conversation that ends when we can't get any more words through all the laughter. :-)
Seriously, my ego isn't that big. ;-) But I'm learning from my Leonine friend what it might be like to have an ego that big. But all things are relative. I stopped teasing my Leonine friend about how big his ego was when I saw the size of his litterbox. ;-)
