Bring On the Rain

Bring on the rain
I've endured many a bruise
I've nothing left to gain
And nothing left to choose
Somehow you told me love
That I don't understand
You knew much more than me
You knew all things at hand
I never knew the truth
Until that fateful day
I learned of your departure
And felt the fateful rain
But you just somehow knew
Much more than I ever did
A dedicated life
To you I was just a kid
I thought I knew a lot
But clearly you knew more
I wish to be just like you
A life worth living for
Your loss hurts so very many
The love of you unique
A mentor of what love means
Reduces my soul to be meek
But tomorrow is another day
And my heart feels it's been slain
I'll face the future anyway
So just bring on the rain
You left behind a memory
Your memory will always remain
Your life through many shall sustain
So bring on the rain.
Author's Notes: Dedicated to the memory of Bobby Liming. We didn't share the same spiritual path, but he made it clear, we all exist in love and will be together again.
Somehow, I believed in him. I think all of us did, all of us who ever knew him. He set a prime example of love to follow. He and I weren't that close, and yet, his loss was so much to me. There was so much love in his heart for everyone. Everyone loved him, and he loved everyone.
Even me.
I miss you, my friend. :'- ( Very much.
