Harm Me (Harm Yourself)

Harm me if you think you must
Even if by word
Attempt to turn my life to rust
The call of harm is heard
Convince me of my stupidity
And harm my self-esteem
Lay all blame and guilt on me
And say you'll haunt my dream
Brainwash me a state af grieving
Say my mind's a mess
Insist I exist in confused believing
Force me to digress
Empower yourself above my stance
And tell me I need pity
Say my life's a wasted chance
Proclaim it to every city
Accuse me of nothing but lies
And fabricating a story
Envision tears fall from my eyes
And bask in victorious glory
Say I strut idiocracy
Embellish my ego to whittle
Make fun of my democracy
And don't forget, belittle
And as you do these harmful things
I sit back to observe
Imagining what your "times three" brings
That threat you say with verve
And when enough nonsense is made
I'll simply lift a finger
To test your self-given accolades,
Let's see how long they'll linger!
Crystal scrying, magick wands
And cauldrons soon retire
Breath of air to water ponds,
Solid earth to fire
The trap you made for me to fall
While acting cute and humble
Will just contain your guile and gall
And in it you shall stumble
Submerged and trapped, and cannot cope
You finally will confess
I'm not the one whose life lacks hope,
Whose mind is such a mess.
Author's Notes: Based on a premise that those who feel they must cause harm to others probably do not know how to keep from harming themselves. But, if they won't listen to sound reason, might as well let them learn the hard way. :-/
