With You Again

I wonder sometimes
How those little things
Just seem to get to me
Almost ruining my day
Then your smile sublime
And the happiness it brings
Helps my heart to be free
As you show me the way
So much pain everywhere
Yet I oft have this feeling
That it isn't so bad
For it seems I'm just fine
You have shown me you care
Worries coaxed into healing
I have reason to be glad
You're in this life of mine
Emotions measuring vast
From the highs to the lows
All my life's trying tests
Failing every now and then
Drifting into the past
Far away my stress flows
And my weary mind rests
When I'm with you again.
