I read omens written in stars.
The speech of birds, I understand.
I am warrior, mage and wise-man.
I am the keeper of the land.
I am tree-kin. I am beast-friend.
My thoughts raised the standing stones.
My knowledge is my gift forever
And will remain when I am bones.
Mine is the life-blood of the Earth.
I am the God, always reborn.
I am the sun that sets in evening
And rises in each golden morn.
I am the staff that calls forth life.
I am the escort at life's conclusion.
My secret is this: the Wheel turns always
And fear of death is only an illusion.
