Hateful, But True

Not sure to what you're referring
Not sure of that which you know
But speak of yourself, my darling
For your words, from yourself, do show.
Be careful of popular issues
Yet say all you ever will
Unless you have lived what you speak of
I say that you're mentally ill
And if that shall not be the case
Then please let your mind be at rest
Perhaps you know what you're saying
And perhaps you do know what is best
But take this one grain of salt
If any, as one that is true
Those of you, who think you know it all
Are annoying those of us, who do.
Author's Notes: Actually this is more of a political poem than anything else. :-) Ever faced discrimination because of anything -- in this case, religion? Well, it's understandable that others may have the wrong idea about you and me. We've studied it, and they haven't.
