Never hide her pride

Age Group: Adult
The fair lady, with her hair unbound,
stood upon the battle ground.
The air smelled of metallic,
oozing from wounds, of the fallin' heros
no longer doomed.
Cries of victory filled her ears,
despair mingled with tears of those
capture for slaves.
Though she was captured along with her clan,
there she stood, head held high with her pride.
No one, not even her clansmen, could ever hide.
That day she made a vow,
she will not sink that low.
The only revenge she has
is to go with the flow and never
hide her pride.
