To Be Noticed
by Phronesus Disegno

Attraction never needs a reason
That it's there is all that is true
Possibilities run through my mind
I'm perhaps never noticed by you
Dare I even take just one chance
Or remain here in solitude blue
When I'm curious of all of your being
I'm perhaps never noticed by you
So what if nothing becomes of it?
All I ask is for one simple clue
Too oblivious to this straightforward hint
I'm perhaps never noticed by you
All excitement may be our conversations
We could share though nothing comes true
You'd be charmed but the truth seems to be
I'm perhaps never noticed by you
Well if you just can't take this hint
Then perhaps your face will turn blue
And although I make myself noticed
I'm perhaps never noticed by you
And yet don't think I'm too forward
To be noticed, one thing is true
An effort to make one step forward
Is one I am too shy to do.
Author's Notes: Not so random thoughts. Curiosity is never random, and neither is the first stepping stone to truth. But who really wants truth, when fantasy will do?
