Kitten Catten (soft as Cotton)

My furry little kitten
With gentle loving eyes
Stared longingly at me
And then to my surprise,
My little kitten catten
As soft as cotton now
Rubbed up against me close
And purred with love, meow.
My petting hand reached down,
But kitt-cat at my feet
Was overcome with mischief
And darted off to eat.
