I Never Said Good-Bye

The thought of you, my way it comes
Much time has passed us by
And though I went away, my friend
I never said good-bye
I sometimes feel you here with me
Your sunshine and your rain
But now and then you're so intense
I actually feel your pain
I wonder if you feel the same
When I am there with you
Or if I'm just a passing thought
That hints a time or two
I may seem gone to you by now,
A memory of the past
Our bond is simply resting, friend
But it will ever last.
Author's Notes: You know who you are, my friend. I'm never as far as you might think.
And I know that Pooch still loves you. ;-) And as a matter of fact, so do I.
