The Thirsty Princess

This is a little story
Of the Princess and the Pee
And no, that was not a typo
It is spelled as it should be
It's not that fairy tale
Where Princess could not dream
From that pea under her mattress
That caused Princess to scream
It's an exceedingly tacky poem
Like the rivers flowing so free
Something like Niagara Falls
The Princess and the Pee
Now this thirsty, thirsty Princess
Had a frightful thirsty thirst,
She drank fifty buckets of water
So much, she almost burst!
And for once, she wasn't thirsty!
But soon she was very appalled;
For weeks and weeks and weeks,
Nature called and called and called.
So the Princess learned a lesson,
But she wouldn't tell it to me...
And that, my friends, is the story
Of the Princess and the Pee.
Author's Notes: I haven't written a truly tacky and tasteless poem in a while... and I wanted to correct the situation before anyone starts suspecting I've moved away to fuddy-duddy land. ;-)
Inspired by, but not based on, "The Princess and the Pea" by Hans Christian Andersen, 1805 - 1875.
