Why I Fear Nothing

When I say that I fear "nothing",
It's as true as it can be;
For "nothing" is the absence of all,
Where no love exists for me.
So many "nothing" fears described
Are based on ONE, you see:
That God and Goddess aren't there,
That they're not near to me.
But I recall they're always near,
And full-circle comes to be --
When I say that I fear nothing,
It's as true as it can be.
Author's Notes: A poem of faith, based on the premise that fear comes from believing that you have been abandoned by your Source, as well as the premise that your Source never abandons you. It changes the meaning from "I am afraid of nothingness" to "I have nothing to fear".
