Conversation with a Christian

There's one thing that I so regret,
We each think different ways;
Though you have tried to change me,
My belief adheres and stays.
I once believed as you do now,
Then later I moved on;
I'll never lost those things I learned,
That knowledge isn't gone.
You speak from one perspective, yes
It's all that you can do,
Suggesting something's somehow wrong
With my perspectives two.
So I will treat yours gently, friend
Those things which you believe,
For I know that it's all you have
And all you can conceive.
Your mind designed for your own thoughts,
And mine is that way too;
You think there's still some hope for me,
I think the same for you.
