RAGE OF THE TITAN©

I AM A MAN
WHICH PREDISPOSES ME TO BEING FOUND WANTING
The mere fact I have testicles and a penis
Rallies a cry of hatred so daunting
Because I am human
Of the male sect
I have already been crucified
Due to your loathing on every aspect
Am I not allowed to make mistakes
Am I not allowed to feel my inner pain
Am I not allowed my errors of folly
Am I only allowed to have a voice in vain
Am I only a whipping boy
Given life to only taste you razor-like tongue
Am I only allowed to live in your shadow
And meant to feel as I am only worth an ass’s dung
Can I not be who I truly am
Without your degrading voice
Must I be your slave
Because of this, I have no choice
Does my pain give you mirth
Do your insults delight you fully
Does your supposed superiority give you meaning
Or does the fact you love to bully
You pretend you are my friend
You detest me
You shame me
You blame me
no more, I beg
please stop this hell
I am born in sin
And I live a lie as well
I live and breathe
I suffer and make do
I smile when I anguish
I just sit and listen, as the venom spills from you
Deep within me is a rage
So powerful, yet I keep control
As hot as the sun
And as black as the devil’s soul
A day of reckoning
A day of revolution
It comes slowly but steadily
As does an animal’s evolution
Thus the titan will emerge
And in its shadow nothing shall exist
For as its rage comes forth
Nothing can resist
Yet the titan knows its enemy well
And the innocent will be spared
But when it regards its enemies
The rage unleashed, cannot be compared.
Author's Notes: This is also a new one. It rather is violent and ominous. But, while I have nothing against anyone at this time, I have seen this poem enacted out. I am currently working on one for women who have been battered and abused. The author, myself, does not wish any of this upon anyone.
