THE ILLUSION OF LIFE

Illusion.....
Is that my life?
Is that what I have worked, bled, struggled for?
To lose it all?
To find out that what was so, never came to pass?
No, such cannot be!
My life cannot be illusion.
Cannot be smoke and mirrors!
An enigma!
NO!
Yet, as my life stares me in the face, it laughs.
And says, "Yes, it is."
