A SINGLE VOICE

THE WARRIOR CONCEDES THE BATTLE,
TO WIN THE WAR.
IT IS AN INTELLIGENT MOVE,
NOT A COWARDLY ONE.
SO LET US NOT STAND IN JUDGEMENT OF HIM.
IT IS HARD TO FIGHT CONTINUALLY, WHEN NEITHER SIDE GAINS AN ADVANTAGE.
SO THE WARRIOR WITH HEART, KNOWS WHEN TO RETREAT TO SAFER GROUND.
YET, WHEN HE PASSES THAT RITE OF UNDERSTANDING AND WISDOM. NEW ADVENTURES AND EXPERIENCES AWAIT HIM.
THIS WARRIOR IS EXPERIENCING STRANGE, AND WONDERFUL, EVENTS.
HIS HEART, MADE OF STEEL AND AS COLD AS THE ABSOLUTE VOID OF SPACE, BEGINS TO SOFTEN AND WARM.
THIS CAUSES CONFUSION, AND PAIN. HE IS NO LONGER AN UNFEELING MACHINE. HE IS HUMAN, MORE HUMAN THAN HE THOUGHT HIMSELF CAPABLE OF.
AGONY WRACKS HIS BODY AND MIND. HE IS LOST, AND ALONE, IN A TERRIBLE VOID. AND HE CRIES OUT FOR THAT WHICH WILL GUIDE HIM.
HIS SCREAM FOR DEFINITION, SOLIDITY, ASSURANCE, ORDER, AND JUSTICE, ARE HIDING THE TRUE PURPOSE OF HIS PAIN AND HIS SCREAMING.
HE IS WANTING TO KNOW WHY LOVE ABANDONS HIM. WHY THIS ULTIMATE BETRAYAL?
LOVE ANSWERS HIM, BUT FROM A DISTANCE. FAINT, BUT STEADY. HE STRAINS HARD TO LISTEN TO THE GUIDING TONES. THEY ARE THERE, AND HAVE BEEN; ONLY IN A DORMANT STATE. WAITING FOR THE RIGHT MOMENT TO AWAKEN.
THE AWAKENING HAS BEGUN.
AND NOW THE WARRIOR IS IN A TEMPEST OF THAT WHICH HE SEEKS.
HE LISTENS TO THE MULTITUDE OF VOICES IN THE DISTANCE.
WHERE?
WHICH WAY?
WHY?
HE ASKS HIMSELF.
HIS HEART ONLY LAUGHS. AND COMFORTS HIM WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THAT A SINGLE VOICE, FROM THE MULTITUDE, WILL RESONATE WITH DEAFENING VOLUME. AND HIS HEART TELLS HIM, IT WILL BE UP TO A SINGLE VOICE, TO GROW STRONG ENOUGH TO GUIDE HIM TO HIS VAHALLA, NIRVANA; HIS EDEN.
THE WARRIOR SEARCHES, LISTENING.
AND WAITS. AS DO HIS HOPES.
HE SHEDS HIS ARMOR, AND IS NOW DEFENSELESS. OPEN TO THE ONE VOICE, THE SINGLE VOICE, THAT WILL CRY OUT THE LOUDEST TO HIS SOUL.
HE AWAITS THAT WELCOMING SOUND.
SHED NOT A TEAR FOR THE WARRIOR, AS HE SHEDS THEM. FOR THIS IS NOT A SAD TIME.
IT IS A TIME OF GLADNESS.
BE HAPPY FOR THE WARRIOR THAT STOPS TO LISTEN.
ONE VOICE.
ONE HEARTBEAT.
ONE LOVE.
HE WAITS......
