A COCCOON OF WINGS

I HEAR THE ANGELS' WINGS ALIGHT NEAR ME.
AND FEEL THE COMFORTING HAND SQUEEZE MY SHOULDER.
I FEEL THE ANGEL'S WARM KISS UPON MY HEAD, AS I AM EMBRACED IN A LOVING COCOON OF WINGS, I FEEL TO MY VERY SOULS' FOUNDATIONS.
I SMILE AS I BEGIN TO CRY.
SO MUCH LEFT TO DO.
SO MUCH TO SAY.
A FINGER IS PLACED UPON MY LIPS TO EASE MY SORROW.
THE ANGEL LEANS OVER ME AND WHISPERS THAT ALL WILL BE AS IT SHOULD. MY PATH HAS ENDED.
MY TRAIL GROWN COLD.
MY QUEST FUFILLED.
MY LAST BATTLEFIELD, WON.
IT IS NOW TIME FOR A WARRIOR TO SLEEP.
I SUCCUMB TO THE OVERWHELMING FEELINGS BURSTING FORTH WITHIN ME.
AND CLOSE MY EYES.
AND REST.
