MANS ETERNAL JOURNEY

A WARRIOR'S SEARCH
KNOWS NO BOUNDS, AND WILL COME FULL CIRCLE BEFORE THE JOURNEY IS COMPLETED. THEREBY SATISFYING HIM.
YET, A MAN'S SEARCH FOR THAT WHICH MAKES HIM COMPLETE,
MAY NEVER BE FUFILLED IN HIS SHORT LIFETIME.
A MAN MAY SETTLE FOR LESS THAN HIS HEART DESIRES.
OR NOT COMPROMISE AT ALL.
IN WHICH, NEITHER IS SATISFACTORY.
A MAN'S SOUL WILL RAGE, CRY OUT, FOR COMPANIONSHIP.
NOT FOR MATING. THAT IS JUST A FUNCTION.
BUT A HEART-RENDING, AGONIZING SCREAM FROM HIS DEPTHS TO END THE NIGHTMARE OF SOLITARY EXISTANCE.
MAN MUST NOT BE ALONE.
YET, DESPITE THE FRUSTRATION, YEARS, AND LABOR OF SEARCHING;
SHE IS OUT THERE.
WHERE IS SHE?
SOMETIMES, RIGHT IN FRONT OF US.
SUCH IS THE FOLLY OF MAN.
THE OBVIOUS IS OVERLOOKED FOR THE EXOTIC.
WHICH WILL BEAR HIM NO FRUIT.
TAKE PITY ON THE MAN THAT SEARCHES ETERNAL, FOR THAT WHICH IS PERFECT IN A COMPANION.
IT WILL NOT HAPPEN.
IS MAN PERFECT?
FAR FROM IT.
IS HIS POTENTIAL MATE PERFECT?
FAR FROM IT.
YET, IN WHAT IS A CONFUSING PARADOX, THE IMPERFECTIONS COME TOGETHER.
AND AT THE PRECISE MOMENT OF THE JOINING.
AN IMAGE OF HARMONY BLOOMS.
A MAELSTROM OF EMOTIONS COME TO THE FOREFRONT, AND PEACE REIGNS IN THE LOVER'S HEARTS.
THE CIRCLE IS NOW COMPLETE.
THE PUZZLE NOW WHOLE.
THE LONELY, MOURNFUL ECHO WITHIN THE SOUL, IS STILLED.
REPLACED WITH LIGHT AND BEAUTY, IN THAT DARK RECESS.
THIS IS MAN'S JOURNEY.
SUCH A SIMPLE TASK. YET WE, COMPLICATE IT.
I WILL COMPLICATE NOTHING.
I HAVE DENIED MYSELF COMPANIONSHIP OF EQUAL TERMS, AND IMPERFECTIONS.
I WISH TO BE WHOLE, COMPLETE, AND IN HARMONY.
SO THAT MY REMAINING YEARS ON THIS PLANE OF EXISTANCE, ARE
WASTED NOT.
SHE IS OUT THERE, WAITING. AND DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ME.
I SMILE. FOR MY SOUL GLADDENS EACH DAY WE SPEAK.
AND THE SMILE, I THOUGHT LOST, COMES INTO BLOOM.
MY JOURNEY IS NEARING ITS END.
AND SHE IS THERE, WAITING FOR ME.
