Control.
A word that has very significant meaning in life.
The ability to maintain mastery of one’s self and environment.
Yet, there are those that believe that that mastery must be embellished upon others.
You believe that, don’t you?
You impress that upon everything, and everyone you touch.
Touch? Infect, actually.
Like a virus that has no meaning until it comes into contact with a living cell.
You have convictions, beliefs.
Good.
You give your control action, voice.
Good.
Yet there are those that have that as well.
It falls on your deaf ears.
The voices are silenced by you, because they do not conform.
The beliefs are dashed by you, because they are alien to you.
You manipulate.
You craft.
You weave.
You mold me into your puppet.
Like a marionette on strings.
Like a musician commanded by a conductor.
Like a soldier ordered about by a superior
Like a child commanded by a parent.
You are not my beloved.
You are an infection.
You do not love.
You control.
No one is safe from you.
Everyone is viewed as an enemy.
Unless they bow to your will.
They cower at the sound of your voice, which hits harder than any hand you may raise.
I would rather be lashed with salt tainted leather.
I would rather hear the screams of the damned, than your voice.
I would rather face extinction, than you and your petty diatribes and manipulations.
I would rather die, than to continue on with you.
You control.
You manipulate.
You control nothing.
You manipulate nothing.
You are a worthless stain in the canvas of life.
