The Way Magic Works (for friends)

Tonight my friend needed my blessing
One which I am willing to give
But to him it was so important
For this blessing would help him live
And to him I said it shall be done
But I added in honesty,
The blessing of which you ask
Comes from you, and not from me.
And he said give it anyway
And I said I shall do as you ask!
For I know in my heart and soul
He'll achieve his own sought-after task.
Author's Notes: I support you, my friend. You have my support, although I know you can achieve your goal without it. But I am here, and I am with you, all the way. It was my promise from the beginning, and it is my promise now.
You can already do it yourself. You know that. My blessing? It's yours. It is yours because you are my friend. That's all there is to it. But I believe in you, and it's because there is true and legitimate reason to be. You are my soul mate, and I love you with all my heart.
Friends are the greatest gift in the world. And your friendship is the greatest gift to me.
Now, and always. My blessing is for you. You actually never needed to ask for it. It is there because I care. So simple. And that is the way Magic works.
