You Can't Possibly Understand Me, So Why Do You?

You don't know me well, do you?
Yes you like what I have shown.
But all that makes me "me"
Is nothing you can have known.
Or maybe you have done the same
How else could you understand me?
Sometimes we simply just "know"
And sometimes, all there is, is to "be"
Yes the present me is real
And it is who you know now.
All I ask is you accept me
Never ask the past, the "how".
It is not for you to know,
And such things I shan't reminisce
Dare not ask what you can't understand
Never question me, I ask this.
And if questions ask you must,
You shall have the answers you seek
Do not ask, if you aren't sure
For the blessed are the meek.
Yet I trust that you know me,
Even 'fore you know every all
I return, as I always will
You need only to make the call
You don't know me that well, do you?
Ask not what my past has done.
I will not justify the truth
Simply love me, and you'll have won.
You have won my love, my friend
And you needn't have done a thing
Do not ask me why this time
As long as my love I bring.
Author's Notes: Don't ask. I'll tell you. Sometimes we are brought up to believe only "one". Sometimes, and I can't explain why, you are blessed with more.

No greed. Just need, and for all the right reasons. Never making promises that you can't keep. But those you do make, by all means, keep them.
